WHAT IS REIKI?
Reiki is a complementary health approach in which practitioners place their hands on or just above different areas of the body. As the Reiki energy flows through your body, it can deeply relax, balance, and calm your energy system.
The word Reiki is made of two Japanese words: Rei, which means "God's Wisdom or the Higher Power" and Ki, which means "life force energy".
Reiki aims to treat the whole person, including body, emotions, mind, and spirit, creating many beneficial effects that include relaxation and feelings of peace, security, and wellbeing. A treatment feels like a wonderful, glowing radiance that flows through and around you.
Reiki practitioners, like myself, focus on sensing energy blocks and moving the energy for the greatest good of the client.

HOW DOES REIKI WORK?
Reiki works by flowing universal life force energy through your physical body. It is an intelligent, gentle, and compassionate energy that may cleanse, heal, and detoxify your body. As the Reiki energy flows through your body, it aims to deeply relax, balance, and calm your energy system.
REIKI BENEFITS
All of your energy systems are linked—your mind, body, and soul. Each of these will have an effect on the others. So, when Reiki energy flows through your physical body, it can clear blocks which can have a positive effect on your mental, emotional, and spiritual health.
Many of the Reiki hand positions are directed around the head, your crown, and the third eye chakras. As the healing ‘life force’ energy enters these chakras, it cleanses and heals your mind.
